Wisdom teeth are the last molars on each side of both jaws. Typically, they are the last teeth to grow out around the late teens and early stages of adulthood. Generally, at the stage, the protruding molars would crowd up the jaw, causing to pain and aches.
These problematic molars are usually removed at an earlier age as it is less likely to cause complications; we recommend teenagers between 17 and 20 to have their wisdom teeth examined to see if the extraction is required. With the right equipment, procedures, and anesthesia, the procedure can be done with relative ease. Consider asking your friendly dental staff about the wisdom teeth extractions if extra cavities and infections develop.
